Is your family’s food as fresh as it should be? Never guess again.™ SensorfreshQ™ easily confirms the freshness of uncooked meat or poultry in less than a minute. Click Here to See How SensorfreshQ™ Works.
SensorfreshQ™ is a revolutionary, affordable, portable, handheld electronic “nose” that uses leading-edge sensor technology to quickly measure the bacteriological activity in uncooked meat or poultry.
In 3 simple steps, its sophisticated microprocessor takes over 2,000 readings in less than a minute and uses complex algorithms to determine the freshness level. First, hold SensorfreshQ™ away from the meat or poultry and select the meat setting or the poultry setting. Next, hold the instrument about an inch above the meat or poultry and push the button; a built-in fan draws in the sample atmosphere past four electronic sensors that measure by-products of food-borne bacteria at sensitivities measured in parts per billion (PPB). Finally, hold SensorfreshQ™ away from the meat or poultry again and press the button one more time to get the answer: a green light means it is fresh; yellow means okay but eat within two days; and red signals that freshness is no longer assured. SensorfreshQ™ is programmed to correlate with international standards for food freshness.
One replaceable sensor cartridge (the “QCard™”) is included; it lasts for 200 readings, or roughly two months of standard meal preparation. Self-monitoring feature automatically signals when a new QCard™ is needed and also when the batteries need to be replaced. Runs on 2 AA batteries (purchase separately). Measures 7 ¾” long and weighs 3.5 oz. One-year warranty.
